YouTube Videos Can Now Be Swiped To Remove From Lists

The YouTube app has been among the most popular Android apps on the Google Play Store. There have been a number of innovations and updates that have been introduced to the app. However sometimes the simplest of updates come very late. A latest update today allows YouTube videos to be removed from lists by swiping them.

YouTube videos from favorites, watch later, basically any list that you can think of can be swiped with ease to remove them. Traditionally users would have to tap on a menu and manually delete a video from there. However it’s much easier now.

Swiping is one of the most common actions on Android. Tinder took Swiping to a whole new level. YouTube Videos too, can be swiped now. This feature works on YouTube App version 12.34.54 and allows the users to swipe videos from lists to have them removed.

When you swipe left on a video on a list on your YouTube app, the video card will move a little to expose a button of ‘delete’. Once you tap the delete button, the video will get removed from the list.

Reportedly this feature could have been there for a while but it hasn’t been reported till as late as yesterday. This is a convenient way to delete videos from lists and will allow the users to manage their favorite videos easily.

In order to make use of this feature on the YouTube app we recommend you update it to the latest version from the Google Play Store. The feature is already live and is quite useful.

Google has been improving the playback experience of YouTube videos as well as the app’s design. A couple of weeks ago the YouTube brand went through a major redesign where the logo as well as the UI were changed.

Update your app today!
